A spectacular antique suffragette lavaliere necklace from the Edwardian era featuring a colourful double drop pendant hung from chains and decorated with Peridots, Pearls and two deep violet Almandine Garnets the largest of which is approx. 1.25ct.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The pendant is modelled in 15ct Yellow Gold and suspended from a fine 15ct Gold chain. It is a wonderfully unique design and looks fabulous when worn.
