A beautiful antique Suffragette pendant made in the Art Nouveau style with delicate, flowing curves skillfully crafted in 9ct gold. It’s adorned with amethyst in the centre (approx. 1.70ct) and a pear cut peridot dropper (approx. 0.85ct).
The gemstone colours were often used together to show support for the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th Century. A white stone was often present as well and together symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
It’s in excellent condition and accompanied by a fine, 9ct chain to display it on.
